Ramayan 24th May Update: Ram-Sita met Jatayu, Laxman cut nose of Shurpanakha

Till now it has been shown in Ramayana that Rama, Sita and Lakshman go ahead after meeting the sage. While walking ahead in the forest, they kill many demons. Now he meets Jatayu and also encounters Shurpanakha.

Ramayan

Sri Ram, Devi Sita and Lakshmana, along with Munivar Sutixhan, come to meet him at the ashram of Maharishi Agastya and seek the blessings of Maharishi Agastya. Maharishi Agastya is very happy with Shriram's arrival and asks Shri Ram to stay in his ashram, but Shri Ram is yet to kill the demons by staying in the Dandak forest. So they refuse them. Maharishi Agastya tells Shri Ram to go to the banks of Panchvati, Holy Godavari and make his place. Along with this, it also tells that in the way ahead, there will be a lot of difficulty in front of Shri Ram and hence Maharishi Agastya gives a special bow to Sri Ram so that he can face the demons. Also gives arrows to Ram and Lakshmana which will not end. Shri Ram, after receiving all this, thanks Maharishi Agastya.

Shri Ram met Jatayu

After this, Shriram, Sita and Lakshman proceed towards Panchavati and on the way they find a big giddy. Shriram salutes the vulture and asks him who he is. That is why, Gidda tells Shri Ram that I am a friend of King Dasharatha and my name is Jatayu. You stay in Panchvati, I will always be here to protect you. Laxman makes a hut in Panchvati. Shriram, Laxman and Sita start living in this hut. Sita suddenly remembers Ayodhya and at the same time Shriram also says that along with Ayodhya's soil, she also misses mother Kaushalya. It has been more than 12 years of exile.

On the other hand, son Ram remembers his mother, then in Ayodhya, mother Kaushalya feels that she has been called by Ram. Kaushalya realizes that her son Ram has returned and she runs towards the door. Calling Ram's name, but soon this confusion of mother Kaushalya breaks and Rani Sumitra tells Kaushalya that there is still one more year to go in Rama's return, which Rani Kaushalya starts crying.

Cope with shurpanakha

Sri Ram is meditating sitting under a tree in his hut, who sees Shurpanakha there. Seeing Shri Ram, his eyes are dazzled. Shurpanakha wishes to marry Rama and she comes to Shriram taking the form of a beauty and Shurpanakha says to Shreeram that you are a supremely beautiful beautiful man and I am a trilok beautiful woman. Shriram tells him what he can help him with. In such a situation, Shurpanakha says, I have come to you with patriotism. We are both made for each other and tell that she is Ravana's sister Shurpanakha and also tells about her family. Shriram tells Shurpanakha that he is Rama, the son of King Dasharatha.

Laxman cut the nose of Shurpanakha

Shurpanakha states her wish that she wants to marry Rama. Then Goddess Sita comes there and Ram tells Shurpanakha that he is married and introduces his wife Sita. Seeing Sita, Shurpanakha gets angry and asks to make Sita a maid. She asks Sri Ram to marry Shurpanakha, when Lakshmana comes there and after refusing to marry Shree Ram, Shurpanakha goes to Laxman and asks him to marry her. But Lakshmana also refuses Shurpanakha. In such a situation, Shurpanakha gets very angry and in her demonic form, she attacks Sita. To save his sister-in-law, mother Sita, Lakshman attacks Shurpanakha and bites Shurpanakha's nose. The angry Shurpanakha leaves from there but goes saying that she will destroy them.

The weeping Shurpanakha goes to her demon palace and tells the brother demon Khar that Rama and Laxman have bitten her nose. Shurpanakha says that now you have to avenge this with Ram and Laxman. The demon Khar also learns that Rama and Lakshmana have also killed all the demons. The demon Khar orders his demons to go to the hut of Panchavati where Rama, Lakshmana and Sita are and asks that they destroy them. All the demons come to attack Shree Ram, Lakshmana and Sita with Shurpanakha, but Shriram takes his bow and attacks the demons with his elusive arrow. Kill 14 demons with a single arrow.

In the next part will be shown how the demon Khar comes with his army of demons to attack Rama and along with that Ravana will kidnap Goddess Sita.
